G.O Ms.No.27 Dated 28.02.2018

G.O Ms.No.27 Dated 28.02.2018 released for AP State Govt New D.A 2.096% from 1st January 2017. AP Govt Employees and Pensioners will get 2.096% D.A from 1.01.2017. AP Govt released New DA G.O No.27 today for the D.A enhancement. Cash will be paid from 1st March 2018 salaries. D.A has been enhanced from 22.008% to 24.104% of basic pay from 1st January 2017.

D.A G.O G.O Ms.No.27 Dated 28.02.2018: ALLOWANCES – Dearness Allowance – Dearness Allowance to the State Government Employees from 1st Jan 2017 – Sanctioned – Orders – Issued

Government hereby order the revision of Dearness Allowance (DA) sanctioned in the Government Orders 9th read above to the employees of Government of Andhra Pradesh from 22.008% of the basic pay to 24.104% of basic pay from 1st January 2017.

The Dearness Allowance sanctioned in the above para shall also be payable to:
i) The employees of Zilla Parishads, Mandal Parishads, Gram Panchayats, Municipalities, Municipal Corporations, Agricultural Market Committees and Zilla Grandhalaya Samasthas, Work Charged Establishment, who are drawing pay in a regular scale of pay in the Revised Pay Scales, 2015.
ii) Teaching and Non-Teaching Staff of Aided Institutions including Aided Polytechnics who are drawing pay in a regular scale of pay in the Revised Pay Scales, 2015.
iii) Teaching and Non-Teaching Staff of Universities including A.P. Agricultural University, Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University and
Dr. YSR Horticulture University who are drawing pay in a regular scale of pay in the Revised Pay Scales 2015.

Government also hereby order the revision of Dearness Allowance rates in respect of State Government employees drawing the Revised U.G.C Pay
Scales, 2006, from 132% to 136% of the basic pay with effect from 1st January 2017.

The above rate of Dearness Allowance is also applicable to:
(i) The Teaching and Non-Teaching staff of Government and Aided Affiliated Degree Colleges who are drawing pay in the Revised U.G.C Pay Scales, 2006.
(ii) The Teaching staff of the Universities including the A.P. Agricultural University, Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University and Dr. YSR Horticulture and the Teaching staff of Govt. Polytechnics who are drawing pay in the Revised UGC/AICTE Pay Scales 2006.

Government also hereby order that the Dearness Allowance to State Government employees who are drawing the Revised U.G.C Pay Scales, 2016
shall be admissible at the rate of 4% of the basic pay with effect from 1st July 2016.

DA Arrears:

G.O Ms.No.27 Dated 28.02.2018 AP Govt New D.A 1.01.2017The Dearness Allowance sanctioned in the paras 1-10 above shall be paid in cash with the salary of March, 2018 payable in the month of April, 2018. The arrears on account of payment of Dearness Allowance for the period from 1st January 2017 to 28th February 2018 shall be credited to the General Provident Fund Account of the respective employees in the month of April 2018.

Employees who are due to retire on or before 30th June, 2018 the arrears of Dearness Allowance shall be drawn and paid in cash as the employee due to retire on superannuation is exempted from making any subscription to the General Provident Fund during the last four months of service.
