Tripura Assembly Elections 2018

Tripura Assembly Elections 2018/Tripura Vidhan Sabha Elections 2018 will be held in February. Tripura Assembly Elections Notification 2018 was released by CEO, Tripura. Tripura Assembly Elections Nominations will be filed from 24th January 2018. Tripura Assembly Elections 2018 will be conducted on the 18th February 2018. CEO Tripura has released Tripura Assembly Elections Notification 2018. Tripura Assembly Election Results will be declared on the 3rd March 2018.

Tripura Assembly Election 2018/Tripura Vidhan Sabha chunav will be conducted for 60 assembly constituencies in a single phase. Election Commission of India has released Assembly Election Schedule for Nagaland, Meghalaya and Tripura states today. Tripura Assembly Elections 2018 Schedule is as follows.

Tripura Assembly Constituencies List

Tripura Assembly Election 2018/Tripura Vidhan Sabha elections 2018 will be held in the following assembly constituencies in this year 2018. At present CPI(M) is the ruling party in Tripura. Congress and BJP are other major political parties in Tripura. CPI(M) will face tough challenge from these parties in Tripura Assembly Elections 2018.

Agartala, Amarpur, Ambassa, Ampinagar, Asharambari, Badharghat, Bagbassa, Bagma, Bamutia, Banamalipur, Barjala, Belonia,  Bishalgarh,
Boxanagar, Chandipur, Charilam, Chawamanu, Dhanpur, Dharmanagar, Fatikroy, Golaghati, Hrishyamukh, Jolaibari, Jubarajnaga, Kadamtala-Kurti,
Kailashahar, Kakraban-Salgarh, Kalyanpur-Pramodenagar, Kamalasagar, Kamalpur, Kanchanpur, Karbook, Karmachhara, Khayerpur, Khowai,
Krishnapur, Majlishpur, Mandaibazar, Manu, Matarbari, Mohanpur, Nalchar, Pabiachhara,Pencharthal, Pratapgarh, Radhakishorepur, Raima Valley,
Rajnagar, Ramchandraghat, Ramnagar, Sabroom, Santirbazar, Simna, Sonamura, Surma, Suryamaninagar, Takarjala, Teliamura, Town Bordowali

Polling will be held for all 60 Assembly Constituencies on the 18th February 2018. CPI(M), BJP, Congress are the main political parties in Tripura. Tripura Assembly Election Nominations will be filed from 24th January 2018. Identification of the voters at the polling booth at the time of poll shall be mandatory. Voter Assistance Booths shall be set up for every polling station location, having a team of BLO/officials with the objective of facilitating the voter to locate his/her polling booth number and serial number of that voter in the electoral roll of that concerned polling booth.

Tripura Assembly Elections 2018 Vidhan Sabha ChunavVVPATs will likely be used along with EVMs in all the 60 Assembly Constituencies of poll going state of Tripura to enhance the transparency and credibility of the election. In order to facilitate the electors in identifying the candidates, the Commission has prescribed an additional measure by way of adding provision for printing the photograph of candidate also on the ballot to be displayed on the EVM (Ballot Unit) and on Postal Ballot Papers. Photo Electoral Rolls will be used during Tripura General Elections 2018/Tripura Vidhan Sabha Chunav 2018. Tripura Assembly Elections 2018 will be conducted at all polling stations using EVMs. The Model Code of Conduct has already been came into effect.
